3. Original Proprietary Trade Dress & Intellectual Property

The visual presentation, trade dress, perforated digital ticket card architecture, styling tokens, responsive layout, custom code scripts, and interactive mediator mechanisms of NineOnline Discount are the original, proprietary intellectual property of NineOnline.

The Platform has been independently conceptualized and engineered without copying, emulating, or utilizing the visual trade dress, copyrighted UI templates, or proprietary layouts of any third-party coupon aggregator (including GrabOn, RetailMeNot, CouponDunia, CashKaro, or Slickdeals). Any visual similarity in the presentation of commercial discounts arises solely from standard functional web conventions (such as search boxes, category chips, and hyperlinked vouchers) which constitute non-protectable generic functional elements under intellectual property law.

All third-party brand names, company logos, product names, and registered trademarks displayed on the Platform belong entirely to their respective trademark owners. These marks are utilized solely for factual, nominative identification of promotional offers under Section 30 of the Trade Marks Act 1999 (India) and international nominative fair use doctrine.

4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

Any editorial analysis, price comparison, or merchant review published on this portal constitutes non-infringing fair dealing under Section 52 of the Indian Copyright Act 1957. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced herein remain the exclusive property of their respective owners, cited under the doctrine of nominative fair use (Section 30, Trade Marks Act 1999).
